Aliza has a masters degree in social work and many years of experience counseling individuals and families in private practice both here in Israel and in the States. In addition to her role as the Director of Guidance in Midreshet Lindenbaum, Aliza supervises masters level social work students, provides therapy to private patients in both Jerusalem and Efrat, and facilitates workshops for young adults around abuse prevention.
Prior to her time at Midreshet Lindenbaum, Aliza served as the clinical coordinator for Tishkofet Bet Shemesh, developing and implementing programs designed to meet the needs of community members living with chronic and terminal illnesses.
Aliza believes the year in seminary is a tremendous opportunity for both religious growth and personal development. Aliza has a strong interest in promoting wellness and teaching life skills to young adults which she brings to her work at Midreshet Lindenbaum.
