The Matmidot Scholars Program offers you an exclusive opportunity to enhance your learning, writing, and leadership skills with a cohort of similarly motivated, driven, talented students. A central feature of the program is the Monday night trips to the homes of influential figures to meet and learn from them in a personal way. As a Matmida, you will have the opportunity to engage in lively Torah discussions, hear brilliant shiurim, and pose your own questions in the living rooms of renowned scholars and leaders such as Rabbi Dr. Kenneth Brander, Dr. Yael Ziegler, Rav Yosef Tzvi Rimon, Rav David Stav, Rabbanit Michelle Cohen Farber, Rabbi Josh Fass, and many more.
A second key component of the program is cultivating your ability to research and produce high-quality Torah scholarship. Each Matmida is paired with a faculty mentor who aids and guides her throughout her research and writing. From solidifying your chosen topic to your final completed article, you will be guided and supported every step of the way. There’s a wonderful feeling of accomplishment upon seeing your name and original article in print in the Matmidot Scholars Torah Journal at the end of the year, sent to schools and shuls around the world.
